  • Registration is now open for the 6th annual Batten Down the Hatches baseball tournament on October 9-11, 2026, in the Olney, MD area.
  • Batten Down the Hatches is a ‘B-LEVEL tournament’ for Ages 9U-12, and a traditional ‘Open’ tournament for 8U and 13U-18U.
  • Most divisions sell-out early, so register before August 1 to ensure a spot in the tournament and to receive an early registration discount.
  • -8U – One division – 1 umpire for all games except 2 umpires for championship game – $600 if register and pay by August 1 / $650 after August 1
  • -9U – Silver Division is for B-level teams / Bronze Division is for C-D-level teams – 1 umpire for all games except 2 umpires for championship game – $650 if register and pay by August 1 / 700 after August 1
  • -10U – Silver Division is for B-level teams / Bronze Division is for C-D-level teams – 1 umpire for all games except 2 umpires for championship game – $700 if register and pay by August 1 / 750 after August 1
  • -11U – Silver Division is for B-level teams / Bronze Division is for C-D-level teams – 1 umpire for pool play games and 2 umpires for all Sunday games – $800 if register and pay by August 1 / 850 after August 1
  • -12- Silver Division is for B-level teams / Bronze Division is for C-D-level teams – TWO UMPIRES FOR ALL GAMES – $850 if register and pay by August 1 / 900 after August 1
  • -13U-18U– Silver Division – Gold Division is for A/B+ level teams / Silver is for B, C, D level teams – Two umpires for all games – $850 if register and pay by August 1 / $900 after August 1
  • -3-game game guarantee weather permitting
  • -Pool play on Friday and Saturday; Bracket and consolation games on Sunday.
  • -1 hour 45 minute game time limit – no new inning

  • Registration is now open for the 18th annual Walk the Plank baseball tournament on May 22-25, 2026, in the Olney, MD area.Walk the Plank is a B-LEVEL tournament with the exception of 8U and 17-18U which are both Open divisions. Most divisions sell-out early, so register early to ensure a spot in the tournament and to receive an early registration discount.
  • -8U – One division – 1 umpire for all games except 2 umpires for championship game – $500 if register and pay by January 1 / $550 after January 1
  • -9U – Silver Division – B-level teams / Bronze Division – C-D-level teams – 1 umpire for all games except 2 umpires for championship game – $525 if register and pay by January 1 / $575 after January 1
  • -10U-12U – Silver Division – B-level teams / Bronze Division – C-D-level teams – $775 if register and pay by January 1 / $825 after January 1
  • -13U-16U– Silver Division – B-level teams / Bronze Division-C-D-level teams – $825 if register and pay by January 1 / $875 after January 1
  • -17-18U – One division – $825 if register and pay by January 1 / $875 after January 1
  • -3-game game guarantee weather permitting
  • -Pool play on Friday and Saturday; Bracket and consolation games on Sunday;  there may be some championship games on Monday if necessary -1 hour
  • 50 minute game time limit – no new inning
  • -3 new baseballs per game

  • -9U- Gold Division – A&B+ level teams / Silver Division – B,C,D-level teams – 1 umpire for all games except 2 umpires for championship game
