Registration is now open for the 5^th annual Batten Down the Hatches baseball tournament on October 3-5, 2025 in the Olney, MD area. Unfortunately we were unable to secure our customary Columbus Day weekend dates, but we will have those dates moving forward.

This tournament typically fills-up quickly, as we can’t accommodate as many teams as we can accommodate for Walk the Plank, so please do not hesitate to register.

There are a few changes this year, so please see below.

-8U – One division – 1 umpire for all games except 2 umpires for championship game – $500 if register and pay by August 1 / $550 after August 1

-9U- One division – B-LEVEL TOURNAMENT – Gold Division – B-level teams / Silver Division – C-D-level teams – 1 umpire for all games except 2 umpires for championship game

– $525 if register and pay by August 1 / $575 after August 1

-10U-12U – B-LEVEL TOURNAMENT – Gold Division – B-level teams / Silver Division – C-D-level teams – $775 if register and pay by August 1 / $825 after August 1

-13U and 18U – Traditional Gold Division-A-level teams / Silver Division-B-C-level teams – $825 if register and pay by August 1 / $875 after August 1

-3-game game guarantee weather permitting

-Pool play on Friday and Saturday; Bracket and consolation games on Sunday

-1 hour 50 minute game time limit – no new inning

-3 new baseballs per game
