OBGC’s Flag Football program is offered as both boys & girls leagues, twice a year in the Spring & Fall seasons.

The season will consist of one practice during the week and one game on Sunday afternoons.

Practices: will begin in late August with games typically starting after Labor Day weekend. Times and days of practices are dependent on the volunteer coaches’ schedules and availability. Once teams are made players will be notified by their coach of their team’s schedule a couple of weeks before the start of practice.

Games: actual schedule TBD. Games last 1 hour and are played at OBGC Park on Sunday afternoons. Younger teams start at noon with progressing ages playing later in the day.

Teams: depending on the number of coaches and players, teams/divisions may be comprised of K-2nd grade, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th grade players. 

Gear Needed: mouth guard, cleats, gloves (if preferred)

Coaches: We are always looking for good coaches for our children.  All head and assistant coaches are required to pass a mandatory background check.  Our coaches are the backbone for all the Club’s programs, and we require that attitude and approach are appropriate for the level and goals of any particular sport. All Head Coaches are refunded one registration fee for a child of theirs on the team they coach & their volunteer fee. Two Assistant Coaches per team will receive reimbursement of their volunteer fee at the end of the season.
