Kim and her husband Ian moved to the area 5 years ago with their 4 kids from Seattle, WA. Not knowing anyone, she jumped right into various roles in the community to start making connections and building friendships. She spent 3 years on the Ashton Pool Board of Directors and has served on the Sherwood ES PTA Board for 4 years. Her family has been part of the OBGC House Baseball league for several seasons which gave her an appreciation for the Club and the important way it helps build community and teach sportsmanship.
Her favorite part of working for OBGC is the scholarship program, “Knowing that we provide opportunities for families to say ‘yes’ to their kids, who may not otherwise get to participate in any sports programs, is an incredible feeling.” She also enjoys the rich history of the farm and land where OBGC calls home and the positive energy of the Club in planning for the future, “There are so many exciting things coming down the pike, it is a fun time to be part of the planning process.”
